With the Northpoint collapse, my company's needs, and my clients' needs
I am seriously looking at setting up a low end colo site and computer resource
center in the near NW burbs (Palatine, Schaumburg, DesPlaines -ish area)

The concept is to set up a secure location with a single T1 for starters
and provide limited access to set up servers on the T1. Being low budget and
"no frills," it would address the gap between being able to afford the
T1 infrastructure and the SDSL or shared server market. The colo
space would be adjacent to a staff work area so there would be a few people
to monitor the site during extended working hours.

I have begun discussion with potential financial and management partners.
Any LUNI, ideas, leads, insite, contacts, or related would be greatly
appreciated. Please respond off list by mailto:scott@chicagoarea.com

    Unrelated:
Since I am off topic: I teach a Computer Networking Technology
Associate program at night, and several student are looking for entry level+
jobs to pursue a career or because of recent layoffs. If anyone has any leads
I would like to pass them on to the students.

    Thanks.
    -Scott
