sprint has a new wireless broadband plan(advertised on
slashdot today, i read it last week on sprints site)
that is good up to 35 miles away from chicago with up
to 5MBps speeds.(usually around 1.5MBps) check out:

this might be an option, but it too looks rather
expensive.
