Comdex sent many "comdex promotional materials".
Based on the number of "comdex promotional materials" I got they could
have reduced the price by about $500.00 . :-)

The info on the Linux Business Expo was one page which basically said it
cost 1295 and go to www.linuxbizexpo.com. It should have had the agenda
in the promotional material and not tell you to go someplace else.
The "conference schedule" on the last pages of the promotional material
does not even mention "Linux Business Expo". Last year it was also hard
to find out what the "Linux Business Expo" contained. It looks like a
after thought. Some thing like "If we say Linux maybe we will get some
more people." and then fill in the blanks later.

Did you know that Ziff Davis no longer owns Comdex/LBE and does that have

> 4) Is the $1900.00 price what kept you from signing up?
Yes. even the 1295 price. Linux world is about 500.00. Atlanta Linux
Showcase is about 300.00. Atlanta Linux Showcase has had the best
"conference". Quite technical and with good speakers. Linux World has
good exhibits with a mediocre conference. They would cancel conference
speakers because. So to summarize I would go to the exhibits at Linux
World and the Conference and Exhibits at Atlanta Linux Showcase. I am
going to the Exhibits at Comdex. In this case it is cheap and close.
It it were in some other city I would stay home.

Depends on how good the content is.

Last year you could take the LPI exam for free. Each exam costs about
$100.00 and there are 2 exams. This is alot less than 1295.
Isn't the Free training part of the Free program?
> 7) WHY did not you sign up?
Too expensive. I know more than the speakers they had in the past. I
could not find the agenda. I did not expect to have to go to a web page
for more info.
