    I'm not entirely clear on what you want to do. Do you want the terminal to
    display the passphrase for PGP before you type it in? If so, I don't
    believe GPG or PGP will do this, but you could write a wrapper that would
    take care of it for you.

    However, the follow up question is: why on earth would you want to do this?
