I am using 'host -t <type> suryag-corp.com ns?.granitecanyon.com' where
type=any|soa|mx|ns and ?=1,2
'granite canyon' is hosting the primary and secondary NS tables for
'suryag-corp.com' i.e. I submitted the RRs for primary and secondary to the
site. Given above, I get inconsistent results when I query the domain RRs.
See results below
Am I missing something?
======================= query result ===========================
# host -t ns suryag-corp.com NS1.GRANITECANYON.COM
Using domain server:
Name: NS1.GRANITECANYON.COM
Address: 205.166.226.38
Aliases:
root@genesis:~ >
# host -t ns suryag-corp.com NS2.GRANITECANYON.COM
Using domain server:
Name: NS2.GRANITECANYON.COM
Address: 204.1.217.148
Aliases:
suryag-corp.com name server NS1.GRANITECANYON.com
suryag-corp.com name server NS2.GRANITECANYON.com
======================= end query result =========================
