I worked with Mix version 1 for quite a while, but it had a lot of
problems. I never tried version 2. One inexpensive X server for Windows
machines I found was X-Deep/32 at
<http://www.pexus.com/>
I wasn't perfect, but it worked pretty well. They let you download a trial
copy that runs for 30 days. Just before I was going to buy a copy, I found
out the university where I work has a site license for Exceed, and I could
get a copy of that for even less than X-Deep/32 so that was that. Just
another option for you.
