I have two boxes one is a web server the other is a mail.companyname.com
they are both behind a firewall but I have NAT routing them from a public ip
to a private. Is there a way to check to see if pop3 is working like you do
with smtp by telneting to the port?
I know for a fact that NAT is working because I have set up this type of
system many time before without any problems> I think the problem is in
Mandrake 7.2 and postfix.
I can't get mail from the local side either so that tells me that the pop3
is not working. I get a socket port 110 error.
