    Sorry for the waste of bandwidth.

    I changed the X resolution using DrakeConf- to the same thing it was originally set at.

    For some reason, going through the resync sends the signal out through
     the port.

    i've made a presentation using Star Office Presentation. I want to project it using a Boxlight projector.

    The Compaq E500 laptop is running Mandrake 7.2, Gnome with Sawfish.

    The projector shows the computer boot up process until the time X display's.
    It does not project anything in X. Switching to a console displays the console.

    Any ideas on how to get X to project?

    Any thoughts appreciated.
