    The Linux Installation Instructions located in the HELP file included on
    the Netgear Driver Diskette does not work with Red Hat. This revised
    driver will enable customers to install these cards in linux 6.X. It
    does not work with version 5.X. The installation procedure and the
    release note is included in the make file.

    The chipset used in the FA311/FA312 is National Semiconductor.
