I use VNC clients on my local NT4 machine to access a local Linux
server and a remote NT4 server. They both work pretty well.

However, cut&paste from the local NT client often doesn't work to
Emacs running on a remote Linux machine.

Also, the scroll-wheel on my mouse doesn't work through VNC at all.
It's surprising how frustrating that is.

Mouse/pointer tracking is not as smooth as pcAnywhere over a
relatively slow line (ISDN 2B), but it's good enough for simple remote
    server administration.
