    MS Proxy Client...

MS PRoxy is a two part proxy

Part 1 a caching web proxy - that is why it needs to set on top of IIS. IF you
can turn your html viewer towrads it all will be fine.

Part 2 for all those things that do not allow proxy setting (mail, news and
like) MS loads client software that looks for out-of-local IP Space and
forwards them to the proxy which in turns sends them out to the internet with
    NAT/MSQ.

The MSPCLNT Software is located in a "shared drive" on the same server os
    the proxy software.

Plus side -- two gateways can be on the system. one for the internet
(MSPROXY) and the normal one for TCP (IE to mother office.)

Minus side -- lap top are a pain -- MSPCLNT Software required in office or
dailed into network. Need to disable when not connect but dailed into an ISP.

LAst year someone was trying to write a Linux Cleint.
