I second what Lance said, although I also recommend that before reformating,
pull any network connection from the machine and analyze what happened. See
what hole you were cracked with and if you can salvage any script kiddiot
't00lz' that may not be yet known by the security community. I am not
suggesting you use anything like TCT (The Coroner's Toolkit) (unless you
want to), but a general analysis is always beneficial.
