Yes it is... BUT
Commerical Firewalls I have seen it on, (WatchGuard, Cisco PIX) so it is
possible. Also under MS Proxy (but that sucks for two reasons M$ and
client side software)
Suggest two gateways... one limited - one full
Internet --firewall1 --Admin --firewall2 --Rest of school
use SSH to form school to admin if more ports are need.
Look at www.smoothwall.org -- small distro that turns a 386 ot better into a
good/great firewall. I should be bring another one to WCLUG tomorrow night
to hand out.
