what firmware are you running ?
are you sure, after the linux install, its booting "ultrix" (i assume you
mean digital unix) and not just booting the firmware (forget the name for
digital unix firmware) but vms uses srm and nt uses arc.
if you are in the city you are welcome to bring the machine over, i currently
have a pw500au and as500 running linux from srm bios and all the software.
