I've got a Win98 desktop that I want to use as a dual boot system and used
PartitionMagic to resize Win for the Linux logical swap and primary
partitions. However, on the install, after I tell the installer to not
put lilo in the MBR, the installer balks at putting the boot partition on
a logical partition. Instead, the only choice it gives me is installing
the MBR in the Win95 Extended partition. :P

Conversely, PartitionMagic is warning me not to have more than one primary
partition if I'm sharing this with a Win9x machine.

I set up a dual boot system on my Thinkpad at work (cough) without much
fuss. I can check that one tomorrow to see the partition layout, but
does anybody have any suggestions in the meanwhile?

    Thanks,

    Steve
